Tips for navigating the visit schedule

You have questions, and we have answers. Our visit and recruitment teams are hard at work welcoming families all summer long, and preparing for those of you who want to visit this fall. Please take a moment to review these helpful tips before scheduling your visit.

  • The fall 2024 visit calendar is now open
  • The spring 2025 visit calendar will open in mid-November.
  • We do not offer visits on university holidays or when the university is closed. View the holiday schedule.
  • Visits to the Tempe campus are offered to current high school students and their families every Monday, Thursday and Friday, and for all others on Tuesdays and selected Saturdays during the summer.
  • Visits to the Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic or West Valley campus are offered to current high school students and their families every Monday and Friday, and for all others on selected days during the summer.
  • Summer in Phoenix can be warmer than you may realize, even if you live in Arizona. We encourage you to be prepared for outdoor activities, wear comfortable shoes, as well as bring a water bottle, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Mill Avenue construction

As you make plans to visit the Tempe campus, please note that work has started on a refreshed Mill Avenue streetscape that focuses on improving accessibility and sustainability. As construction continues, parts of Mill Avenue and University Drive will be closed, some areas will experience power outages, some sidewalks and ramps will be closed, and pavement reconstruction will be underway.

Guests who park in a surface lot will now pay for parking using the Park Mobile App or AMP system.
